Terms of Service

AuctionXI is software for organizing and running sports player auctions and tournaments. The auction purse and bids are a virtual budget used only to form teams. AuctionXI does not process, hold or facilitate any real-money wagering, betting, staking, gambling, prize pools or entry fees between participants. It is a management and broadcast tool, not a gaming, betting or gambling service.

AuctionXI is intended for adults. Because the Service involves payments and running real events, anyone under 18 should use it only under the supervision and with the consent of a parent, guardian or responsible adult who agrees to these Terms on their behalf and is responsible for their use. You must be able to form a binding contract to hold an account. There are two kinds of use:

• Organizers / Operators - account holders who create tournaments, add teams, players and sponsors and run the live auction.
• Viewers - people who open a public viewer, projector, overlay or mobile link to watch an auction. Viewers do not need an account.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Organizers and operators add and control all tournament content - including team names and logos, captain details, player names, photos, contact numbers, categories and any other data and sponsor details. This content is provided by the operator, not by AuctionXI.

• The operator confirms they have the right and any necessary consent to upload that content (including names, photos and contact details of players, captains and sponsors).
• We do not verify, validate or use operator-entered contact details (an email or phone number added by an operator is on them, not on us), and we do not independently confirm any participant’s identity, eligibility or consent.
• The operator is responsible for the accuracy, legality and appropriateness of everything they enter and for the real-world outcome of the auction (squad composition, prices, payments between participants, results, prizes).
• If something about you was added by an operator and is wrong or you want it removed, contact us at support@auction-xi.com and we will help route the request to the organizer.
• No unlawful, infringing, offensive or misleading content or content the operator does not have permission to use.

We do not control, pre-screen or manually review the images and data operators upload, and we cannot guarantee that operator content is appropriate - we do not expect our users to upload anything wrong, but we are strict about it. If you come across any explicit, vulgar, offensive or otherwise inappropriate content on AuctionXI, please email us at support@auction-xi.com with a link or screenshot as proof. If we find such content we will email the responsible account citing the violation (with proof) and give 3 days to respond or appeal by replying; if we do not hear back, or the issue is not resolved, we may then suspend or permanently delete the account and its data. By uploading content you confirm it is lawful and appropriate.

Every tournament has one of these statuses, shown on your dashboard:

• Draft - created and being set up. If it never goes live, a draft is automatically archived 30 days after it was created.
• Live - the auction is running, and any viewer / projector / overlay / mobile links you share are public. If the operator does not end it, a live auction is automatically ended 5 days after it started.
• Ended - the auction is complete (ended by the operator or automatically); results are final and remain viewable. An ended tournament is automatically archived 30 days after it ended, and its uploaded player photos, team / sponsor logos and special mention photos are deleted about 90 days after it ended (or about 60 days after a tournament is archived); the tournament’s own logo is kept.
• Archived - a closed, inactive status. The tournament still appears on your dashboard (labelled “Archived”) and its data is retained; it is simply no longer active.

These automatic transitions cannot be reversed. Once a draft is auto-archived, a live auction is auto-ended or an ended tournament is auto-archived, it cannot be moved back to its previous status. These timings are operational defaults and may change.

Once a tournament is ended or archived, it becomes read-only. Its setup and content (teams, players, sponsors, scenes and settings) can no longer be edited or added to. You can still view everything and download your results, but the tournament cannot be reopened for changes.

An auction is meant to be watched. When you share a viewer, projector, overlay or mobile link, the tournament content you entered - including team and player names, photos, prices and results - is visible to anyone who has that link, without an account. Only share links with the audience you intend, and only upload content you are comfortable showing publicly and have the right to display.

You agree not to:

• misuse, overload, probe or attempt to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
• access another organizer’s data without authorization or scrape the Service;
• resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission;
• use the Service for anything unlawful, including gambling or betting where it is not permitted.

AuctionXI offers a range of paid plans. Plan features, limits and prices are shown in the app and may change over time; changes apply going forward. Any list, “strike-through” or original price is shown for comparison only. Paid plans are billed per the plan and price shown at the time of purchase. Unless required by law or stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable. You are responsible for any taxes that apply.

Plan changes.While a tournament is still in draft, you can upgrade its plan by paying the difference between the new plan's current price and what you have already paid. Downgrades are not available and a plan change is not grounds for a refund. Coupons apply to new purchases only, one coupon per purchase, and cannot be combined with an upgrade.

Enterprise plan. Enterprise purchases include a 1-hour onboarding session held over a meeting link, scheduled at a time agreed between you and AuctionXI. In this session we set up the essentials with you and show you how everything works; it is a guided teaching session, and we do not configure your full tournament for you. You also receive on-call support for 15 days from the date of purchase. This support covers using the Service; we do not operate or run your event for you.

We send transactional emails (verification, password reset, auction results and other account notices) that are required to operate your account or that we send when your auction ends. When you create an account you are also subscribed by default to our product updates and offers (new features, tips, discounts), which we may send by email and/or WhatsApp. You can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in those emails or your account settings; WhatsApp messages are opted out directly in WhatsApp (reply STOP or block the number). Opting out of marketing does not stop essential account emails.

From time to time we may run discounts, sales, giveaways, reward programs and other promotions. These are entirely at our discretion: they may start or end at any time, without notice, are not guaranteed and their eligibility, limits and terms are set by us. Any credits or perks have no cash value and are non-transferable and non-withdrawable except as we expressly state and may only be used as described (for example, towards purchasing a plan). We may change, pause, withdraw or reclaim such offers - including for misuse, fraud or abuse.

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and its data from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your tournaments and their data and cannot be undone; if you have a live tournament you must end it before you can delete your account.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that live auction state will never be affected by network, device, browser or third-party issues. You are responsible for your own setup (stable internet, a single operator screen, a backup plan for your event).

Any sample or demonstration content in the Service or on our website, including scene previews and demo data, is fictional. The names, teams, logos, figures and other details shown are invented and do not represent, endorse or impersonate any real person, team, brand or company.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuctionXI and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or for lost data, lost auctions, lost revenue or disputes between tournament participants. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months before the claim.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes may be highlighted in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

AuctionXI is operated from India. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and you agree that the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

The AuctionXI name and the AuctionXI text logo are trademarks of AuctionXI (™). You may not use the AuctionXI name or logo in your own branding, marketing, products or domain names, or in any way that suggests endorsement or affiliation, without our written permission. Fairly referencing or linking to the Service, including screenshots of your own tournaments, is welcome.
